Bikes: Specialized Sirrus Sport

Sirrus Sport 2015

I'm 56 and just getting back into bicycle riding after about 25-30 years. I found and bought a used Sirrus Sport for what I thought was a really good price, $150, and he threw in a Blackburn combo lock setup with cable.

It does need a tune up and a rear inner tube. Doesn't hold air very long. I will primarily use this on paved bike paths and local neighborhood riding. Trying to get back into shape, and just having fun.

I am wanting to put a nice rear rack on it, so I can carry some junk when I ride any distance. Any suggestions, also I want to replace the tires later when these wear out and was thinking I would like a thicker tire than the 700x32's on it now, perhaps a 38? does any one know how much bigger I can go, used on paths and maybe gravel.
