Yeah! Our neighborhood is close to the hilly wooded part of town, so the deer are really tame and in our area a lot. They're like big rabbits, and one of them dashed across the road right in front of me when I was almost home from a club ride. It swept out my front wheel, and I was on the ground before I knew it. Fortunately I wasn't going very fast and didn't break anything, although my hip, shoulder, and ribs were sore for weeks afterward. My bike was fine apart from the crooked handlebars and scuffed handlebar tape.
