There's an old guy on my route who rides a lever bike. He has to stand on the levers and press down on them alternately. I see him almost every day, often both morning and evening. I get the impression he is retired and rides up and down the river all day long. There is no place for him to sit on his bike.

I once ran into him in the bike shop on Dyckman St which is the northern end of the Hudson River Greenway. Next time I run into him, I'll see if I can spark a conversation.
