It was a dark and stormy night
The wheels spinning water, an unusual sight
When up from the curb there arose such a clatter
I looked down at the ground to see what was the matter
And what to my wondering eyes should appear
The pavement below growing rapidly near
Then down to the ground I fell with a thud
At least it was water, not thistles or mud.
I picked myself up, no cause for alarm
Neither bike nor myself suffered serious harm.
