I was on high doses of prednisome for two years, which did not do the job (however many ILD patients are catabolic steroid responders). Went onto a older chemotherapy drug called cytoxan, to which I responded. Been drug-free for over a decade, albeit with fribosis. I now diffuse CO2 at about 67-75% of normal. Entirely workable.
