The Overtake was on my list of possible future helmets, and I think it just rose to the top.
I must live in an alternative bike universe..bee issues? Hogs and deer, yes. Bees, no.
I rode with a $50 Bell for years. I switched to a LG Diamond last year and for twice the price it was only ok. A Cannondale rep gave me a new one of their helmets a few weeks ago. He said it was around $225. This thing is really light and cools off well. I was not a believer in paying more for a helmet until now. Free is better but I would pay more for it in the future. As for the bees, perhaps all my other helmets were bee proof and never knew it.
