There are a lot of problems with that petition:
* Its a generic petition, making it easy for 'signers' to simply click on it without really being committed to its cause. It'll either heavily discounted in it value when seen by a city/county official, or ignored completely;
* Not much of a petition in that it doesn't propose any solutions, just a short 'bumper stick' statement to get the homeless off the SART - that won't go over well with the politicians its addressed to;
* The east side of the River is in the City of Orange;
* The east and west sides of the River are in the City of Orange for the section (approximately) south of Orangewood and north of the 22 freeway;
* Its only going to three Anaheim officials? Aren't there 5 or 7 council members, and a City Manager?
* And probably the biggest faux pax of all - the river is the jurisdiction of the County of Orange.
Somebody didn't do there homework on this one.
Edit: I noticed all the Anaheim, City of Orange, and County Supervisor names have been added.
