The frame's lost it's head badge but it's a clearly a very nice frame..Nervex (pro) lugs, forged dropouts, nice touch with the braze ons..
...and the seller suggested it my be from Dave Davey's shop, which was only a few hundred yards from where I live at the mo. 'which was nice'.
...There is a clear serial number on the bottom of the BB lugs rear stays extensions..same number each side...2028-2028.
Very little info online. A google search seems to indicate Dave Davey serial numbers were 4 digits x twice. But with only one photo it's hard to see much detail on the google bike (and few other google images of other Dave Davey bikes)...but the seat post bolt is an allen key bolt which is same as mine and nice/ unusual detail on a 60's bike. Plus the double braze ons on the rear stay for the rear derailleur is identical on both bikes..the details begin to mount up...and the unusual top tube rear brake braze ons..two each end.
I'm hoping someone has a Dave Davey..or info.. that can help.
Firstly you're on the wrong forum for this builder, and if you're near DD's shop you live in East London ?

John.
