I'm jealous that you still have your childhood bike. It looks in such good shape. The frame I am building up looks to be of a similar vintage. But mine has no paint or chrome (And of course no components yet!) Have you heard of a 1960s or 1970s Bottecchia without chrome lugs or fork ends? I'm puzzling over that.
