Ashame because I saw the 2016 Cannondale Quick 4 model in Blue which is stunning, but couldnt find any in my size at any bike dealer within 100 miles of me. Dont understand if a bike was that good selling why they would change the color on the next year.
I use to ride a blacked out Sirrus and my cycling clothing was all dark colored as well. I don't think this is optimal for City riding.

My BMC is Green and I now wear bright Green shirts as well. I think the bike color along with the attention getting shirt, gets me noticed by motorists. I don't really have any frim proof to offer of this but based on my daily rides (30-40 mile a day in City) I firmly believe I get buzzed far less often now than I did when all blacked out.

I don't wear cycling specific clothing so to speak. I do wear cycling bibs and mountain bike clipless shoes but don't wear cycling specific jerseys. I wear the dry fit shirts and have several in different shades of Green.
