Bikes: More bikes than riders

Kenda suffers from so much market penetration, they have offerings from the very bottom of the barrel to very top-shelf stuff (and reviews and comments are often inappropriately generalized). Tires like the Kenda Small Block 8 and Flintridge are near legendary in their respective markets, and they're not cheap tires. I'd like to try the Flintridge in 40mm size, but it's at least 50 bucks a tire, and I'm not keen on spending that much for a tire.

For sure, Kenda makes some junk, too. Most of the poor tires they have are inexpensive units found as OEM tires on various bikes (often low-end bikes).

My daughter's Raleigh Alysa came with 35mm Kenda Kwick Tendrils. They're okay -- they're a basic slick that works well on paved surfaces and just okay on dirt. They're not terribly supple, but they seem to be durable.
