dont have a photo now, but on my Troll, for the front fender, to get around the disc issue, a mechanic showed me how to used small metal tabs, about 2 inches long, with holes at either end. One end bolted to the eyelet hole thingee on the fork, and the tab faces backwards and allows the fender stay to bolt to it. Will try to rmemeber to put up a closeup of it at some point. Worked well and never got loose or anything since I installed it last year.
