I have a set of Potenza brakes and a set of Swiss Stop BXP brake pads, that will fit Chorus brake pad holders but not Potenza. I really want to try these brake pads.

Luckily, as it turns out, I also have Chorus brake pad holders just lying around, in which the Swiss Stop pads fit ever so perfectly. So, I replaced the brake pads holders, on the Pontenza brakes, with the Chorus brake pad holders. Everything seems ok. The holders snug up real nice. No play in them. Brakes work excellently.

Does anyone know of any caveats to doing this (switching brake pad holders from Chorus to Pontenza--Potenza uses same holders as Veloce) of which I may not be immediately aware?
