I like the chromed and perforated Italian REG cages with integral clamps and sprung-latch closure.

These will even handle the biggest 32oz (1-liter) bottles with just a gentle twist in or out, which usually lets me carry enough water even when there is only room for one cage without fouling the frame's decals.
