shimano double is 109.5mm, triple is 118.5mm. I wonder if I had installed a double bottom bracket
for my triple crank bike. Because there seems to have some compatibility issue that
it is not able to get thru all the gears without hitting the FD cage, and the FD would hit the seattube.

Now that the bottom bracket and the triple crank are installed, and there is no length marking
I can peek into, so I measured the distance across the left and right crank arm. Incidentally, it is
the same as my other double crank bike.

Did I really put a double bracket in or is the distance across the crank arm is supposed to be the
same between a double and a triple setups?

any tips would help. don't want to take it apart unless I have to.
