That's some solid numbers on that replacement, and that doesn't even count the time on the trainer each off season.

A cycling friend just had one hip replaced 2 weeks ago.. pain finally got to be too much.. hopes to be back on the bike in a few months... I will pass your story on to him for motivation..

Went for a yearly check up... doc asked how I feel... I said great, but getting up in the morning is a little harder, recovery time is longer, and aches last longer... Told him as soon as some part of me goes and it can be replaced, I'm there.. He thought I was nuts, but hey, if I can replace parts as they wear out.. I might be cycling as a Great Grandfather.

I rode 4600+ miles this year, 3500+ last year and 2650 the year before.. all outdoors except for about 200 miles..
and that's with all original parts..
