if you're good with your hands, you could probably make an integrated cable stop from a stock headlight mount. i just recently went through this dilemma with a nitto front rack; i ended up getting a modern cable hanger to go on my headset (rather than a diam-compe 'stamped' style), and drilling a hole in the mounting plate for the cable to pass through.
