How wide apart are the canti bosses? Most all modern canties are designed around a boss c-c of about 55mm wider then the rim width. I have seen many 1980s bike from Asia having fork bosses that are less then 70mm wide with a 23+- rim. Way to close together for a lot of cantis even with thin pads. Then if the boss height along the blade is not best the range of any adjustments just gets reduced faster.
I have a bunch of cantis on my home shelves. I trial and find out their fit, as needed, on whatever bike is in front of me. I don't record what fit what because it takes more time to do that then try another. This is why having a good LBS or bike recycler that works with you is so important sometimes. Andy.
