I mix three antirust products: ACF-50, LPS3 and Boeshield T9. The mixture works much better than each product separately. I ride in winter and I used to park outside so I had a chance to get good statistics. I apply this mixture to any potentially corroding metal surface, chain, frame interior, hinges, bolts, scratches in the paint etc. (some alu too). The mixture basically takes care of the corrosion so you can concentrate on other things in life (provisions for another planet and alike

). On the chain you need to reapply the mixture every 3 months. In other places the reapplication needs to be only incidental. Even around the hinge area of a steel kickstand, the coverage remains pretty much put. Regarding the component ratio, I put a bit less of ACF-50 than of other, as it is the most expensive and its action is chemical rather than physical - the fact there is a bit less of it does not seem detrimental.
