I'm looking for anyone's experience with one particular bike rack and one category of bike rack for RVs. Due to the construction of my RV, a rear bumper rack is out of the question. Of course it is, that would be too easy, grumble, grumble.

The particular one I'm considering is the Lippert Jack-It. It mounts on the A-frame of the camper and holds 2 bikes over the propane tanks.

The category I'm considering are the ladder mounted bike racks. We have a ladder that will hold my hefty self (218#), so a couple of bikes should be nothing. There are several models, but the one I'm currently leaning toward is the Surco 501BR Ladder Mounted Bike Rack. Obviously I'm open to suggestions.

I'm leaning toward the ladder racks based on price and simplicity.
