Wow, that must have been quite a crash an I hope you recover quickly and fully. As to the bike frame, check it over for scratches, abraded paint or other signs of impact. If there are none, the frame should be fine and you did indeed, protect the bike. If there are signs if ground contact, have a dealer inspect it for significant damage.
