The hose is not the problem, it's the barb, which is all of a plastic piece with its threaded base and the unit under the pump which screws into the bottom of the tube on one end and is connected to the gauge at the other.

I asked Nashbar if I could buy just that replacement unit (like off a returned pump), but they said they didn't have any and they would just exchange the pump.

If I can't fix it tomorrow, I plan to completely disassemble it so I can ship it in a skinny box barely bigger than the pump body.
