Resurecting this old thread - these bluetooth problems are biting me hard.

I have a bunch of Wahoo devices and a Galaxy S5 with Android 6.0.1. While the TICKR seems to behave well, the BlueSC simply fails to connect in any way shape or form. My Kickr has the same problem - simply can't do squat with it. The phone just spins - it can never find out the firmware version or read the sensor values.

I used to use this very same phone with these same Wahoo devices (except for the Kickr - just got that), and while it wasn't great, I was able to get it to work well enough to function. That was almost certainly before the current Marshmallow update. This summer I was using my new Bolt, so I never paid as much attention to the connections to the individual sensors until now.

As a workaround, I found my wife's old Galaxy S4, and I can connect with those. I had thought that Bluetooth was supposed to be getting better, and instead it has gotten worse.

I submitted a ticket with Wahoo - I don't know if anything will come of that or not.
