I realized I forgot to answer the question earlier. I have 4 forward facing lights that I've acquired over the years, and usually only use 2 or 3. I use a magacshine with a wide angle lens on the handlebar with a Ultrafire 501B I shouldn't have bought as a spare that I rarely use. It's my backup light, and I fugure the best place for it is in the mount on the handlebars. On my helmet I use a Vis 360 day and night, and a C8 I use after dark.
They all flash at different rates too. Once I was first in line waiting for a train to unload passengers and turned them all to flash at the same time to see how the lights would look reflecting off the reflective material on the crossing gate arms. It was pretty interesting.
