Yes. Pulling out from a side street requires extra special care. Since there is no traffic signal to stop traffic. I always make sure that any approaching traffic is at least ten car lengths behind me o, on the approaching lanes. Before I pull out That way they even have time to notice me, and hit the brakes if needed.
