I have a 7.2FX and my hands would start to get numb after a few miles. My LBS put on some Ergon grips and they were better but I still was getting numb so they added some generic bar ends similar looking to the GP5's. They put my original grips onto the bar ends and they worked and look good - and having the multiple places to move my hands to during rides helps a lot for the numbness issue.
