Per my Garmin data, I was doing 20 mph entering the roundabout... Toad was being an overconfident dumb a$$.

Road rash on knee, elbow, and bad patch on my hip; ripped my brand new bar tape, superficial damage to brake lever; and put a hole in my brand new bibs (2 miles into their first ride). The damage to the bibs is REALLY pissing me off, their the most expensive bibs I've ever bought and really nice too! I'm look for repair options since the hole isn't too big.
Ouch. Did a similar amount of damage a few weeks ago. Turned my head to yack at my spouse, dropped a front wheel off the pavement, flipped the bike....lots of nice road rash, bent the rim out of true, and managed to dislodge (but not notice for another 20 miles) the rails on a brooks c17. So listened to what I pessimistically thought was a crack in my cf frame somewhere creaking, only to find out I was sore as all get out from riding a lop sided saddle with a now bent rail compliments of my wreck. Rail was deformed, but brooks makes replacements, so problem solved. Wheel though now seems is toast. Won't stay true. Good luck with the bibs.
