Right on. I think only the TX900 had the Cinelli lug treatment and fastback stays. That looks like my size, so your job is to point out that it is way too big for him...
And out of interest, what is the hex head size of the seatpost binder bolt? My '78 930 has a US sized bolt - maybe 3/16"
