Photo taken at Don Edwards Wildlife Sanctuary in the South SF Bay area in CA. This part of the sanctuary was pretty much salt evaporation ponds but other parts of the park hosts a whole bunch of birds migrating south. Saw a huge flock of pelicans just hanging around and also watch a huge blue heron fishing for lunch near an inlet. Population of fowl usually picks up as winter nears. Easy place to ride with all packed gravel. My CX bike is overkill here...
