My 2012 Synapse has 14k miles on it. It looks like new, IMHO. The cassette and chain have been replaced, new bar tape, replacement cables. Same wheels. Obviously been through several sets of tires. But I weigh less than you.

The Emonda gets rave reviews by the people on this forum. You might also consider Specialized Tarmac. I recommend some test rides! Perhaps try a bike with an endurance geometry. I don't think these bikes are all that much slower, just different geometry.
