The "updated" version of the Quartz is the
S-Track. I'm using them on both of my bikes (about 13,000 miles total,) and love them. Just the right amount of float (for me,) the cleats last a
really long time, and they stay quiet-- which was my chief complaint about SPDs. After awhile, they all get squeaky.
