I rode my old Cannondale T600 touring bike on the Colorado Triple Bypass a few years ago. I got more than one "less than positive" comment from all the carbon riders about my choice. Yeah, it was heavier but it's my primary bike and it has a triple crank. I like sitting down when I exercise.
