double crank like the now popular 50 - 34 t will be geared higher than the 28t of your triple..
so if you struggle on hills in the 32: 28.. you will be getting off and walking the bike
when the available gear is higher.
Expect the change from 28t to a 24t would be insignificant but it is lower..
Math .... 34/36 =0.944, and 28/32 = 0.875 to one...
