But then again, trying to bring simple biology into a bike forum was probably a mistake.
But the effort you put in is not related to bike weight. If you usually pump 200 watts up a hill you will pump 200 watts regardless of the bike weight.
You appear to lack an understanding of the biomechanics of cycling.
