Hi every one, I have bought a cheapo full carbon seat with carbon rails and was wondering if a particular clamp is required ? I am a relatively heavy rider at 220 lbs so this experiment may not work, heh heh. The seatpost I have on order has an "Alloy clamp". My apologies but the brand is generic AFAIK, so There probably wont be any torque specs with the seatpost when it arrives and there aren't any specs on the carbon rails of the seat. The rails of the seat are oval. I guess about 7 x 10 mm or so. Any replies are appreciated.
