From what I gather, if the integrity of the bond between the original epoxy and the CF mat has been disturbed, just inject epoxy likely won't have much effect as the damage probably goes much further into the wheel than what you can see. You really need to wrap new CF and epoxy well over the damage, rather like they do with frame repairs, but on wheels, that's a next-to-impossible ask.
