No we have only ridden a tandem once before, a few years ago, for about 30 minutes. None of the LBS in our area (there are 3 that I know about - 2 in Paducah and 1 in Hopkinsville) carry tandems or have a tandem available to rent.

So, my plan is to find an inexpensive (relatively) tandem, buy it, and find out if it will work for us. If it does, then I can upgrade the components or find a better one. If not, I won't have too many $$ in it.
