I spent the last 6 months without looking at the bottom of my shoes, so I didn't notice that one of my cleats had slipped to an odd angle and didn't think anything of the fact that my toe was pointed in farther than usual (my knee was hurting for other structural reasons anyway so I didn't notice the additional stress), so everyone else should have ridden in an unoptimal position as well.

You have a higher pain tolerance, so I should be allowed to ride on vicoden.

What races meant to test?

Eh, I don't know. I just like riding my bike.
