It's likely that the chainstay will crack through eventually. But eventually isn't tomorrow or next week, or even next month. It can be a very long time. And if or when it does crack through, it's very unlikely to cause anything more than inconvenience.

+1 this. Chainstay failure won't be catastrophic. Keep an eye on it, and if it continues to grow, put more effort into finding a replacement frame.
