I'm thinking of converting my current standard FSA crank with ISIS bottom bracket to a compact crank and external bearings. I have found the stiffness of the Exo system to be significant when I tried this crank on another's Soloist. My rule is I always upgrade to something lighter, and i'm sticking with FSA because I'm very happy with the quality of FSA components I have now.

I'm having a lot of trouble understanding weight issues, because neither FSA nor resellers state the weights of all the cranksets, and one has to compare crankset+BB for ISIS, whereas external bearing cranksets are weighed with the hollow axle BB as one unit.

The FSA Gossamer Mega Exo is 900 grams -but this includes the BB weight.

Anyone know what an ISIS FSA Gossamer + ISIS BB weighs?
Or the SLK compact mega Exo? Carbon compact mega exo?
