I can understand the fear of being bitten by dogs. Nobody looks forward to an angry dog.

But with the average home being in the quarter of a million dollar range..... that might be an investment worth protecting. I make an effort to get along with my neighbors... and I've never once regretted it. Good neighbors are a great thing. Pissing them off.... is a really bad idea.

Take them over some cookies (and dog treats) and make peace. Much nicer than your lawyer talking to their lawyer... and maybe living for years near some guy who wants you dead. Or having a conflict that means exposing their nature.... when selling you home....
