One thing to consider when trying to convert a mountain bike to road bars: Mountain bikes have proportionally longer top tubes. That might make the bike somewhat uncomfortable with drop bars on it.
Yes -- but I am 6'4" with 37" sleeve length...! A flat bar is sure to be more easily sold on in the future, though.
