I like pneumatic tools. They tend to be lighter and smaller than their electric counter parts. Of course you have to deal with compressor and hose, so electric and battery tools still dominate my shop. But I'm thinking of getting some more pneumatic tools so I can DIY my own stone or solid surface counter tops without fear of electrocution from the water to cool the cut. They seem to be cheaper than their equivalent electric that is made to work with water cooling.
How far down is the rest of that seat post? Must have been a ridiculously long post. Have you found a friend with a slide hammer?
I got it down to 9 inches I reamed it out with a 1-inch steel gas pipe fit perfect
I got a seat post today and it sticks up about 3 inches on lowest so that will be OK for me, could be chopped down
for a shorter person, post it is a bit long, but it's a nice light used vintage aluminum post $6
There is still about 2 inches in that I am not going to bother with it's seized solid it would never have come out without drill, I tried to get extension for 1-inch drill no success and it would be expensive don't want to get carried away with a $45 bike
I think a short person rode it that why it was hammered fully down and it was a long post
