There are tons of great riding out from Carmel. You can ride into Pebble Beach free of charge and ride 17mile drive and end out in Asilomar to Pacific Grove. At Pacific Grove you can take the moderatly flat trail all the way to Castroville. The trail provides a nice ride for an out and back. You could also ride south on Hwy1 to Pt. Lobos for a short ride.
