100 years ago, most industry around here was situated along the river. Now, that's all parkland a trail for bikes and walkers. Every once in a while I stumble across huge chunks of concrete and other traces of this old industrial landscape. Ironically, in my town most of this old industry had to do with manufacturing automobiles and their predecessors. I enjoy looking at historical photos and maps to tray and figure out what used to be where, and what traces it left.
