There would be other ways to look at age too.
My bike was built when I was a toddler. I didn't buy it then, but looking back now, I've owned and ridden the bike for about 2/3 of my life (as well as closer to 3/4 of the bike's life).
It starts seeming old when my bicycle was my High School bike, my College bike, Graduate Studies bike, and periodic commuter to every job I worked. And, I've now developed a couple of grey hairs.
