I don't think those are necessarily bad FTP and W/kg numbers, especially for an older person, but what are your specifics? For instance, have you been recreationally riding for decades and have just never trained with a plan? 200 is probably pretty good then and might indicate that quite a bit of potential improvement is still possible. Or have you been training seriously for years and are just not seeing the big numbers you would hope for? That might be a little more discouraging then.

As I understand that chart above, that 'Untrained' category isn't so much a standard of measure for the average couch potato as it is a measure of active riders who just don't train to race. Sedentary peoples' numbers would generally be much lower if tested similarly.
