I hate installing cables. I fear cutting them too short. Even too long costs me time in redoing. I finally screwed up the nerve to replace the cables on my Lemond which is necessary because I've changed the stem and handlebar. I inserted the gear cable in the brifter, and somehow I stuck it in the wrong place. Can't get it out. Argh. I'll get back to it in a few days. Good thing I don't have to ride the bike.
