Recently Flog00 scored a 1978 Trek TX700; it didn't work out for him, so he offered it to me. I've been looking for one of these for quite some time- The TX700 is Trek's original 531 framed bike. This was
the geometry for the early Treks.
I'm shocked at how much effort I've had to put into this- the amount of trouble I've had and the terrible, terrible things I've done... But the bike is definitely coming along.

And the bike as it's built right now-
I think there are some changes coming, but right now it's built with Superbe brakes and levers, Cyclone derailleurs, Suntour Barcons, Stronglight 99BIS crankset, "jim blackburn" rear rack, Vetta front rack, Suntour sealed bearing hubs, Wolber Model 58 rims- 40 spoke rear, Avocet seat post, Avocet Touring II saddle, 60mm Nitto Technomic stem, and Sakae CT Signature bars.
