Because of what shows between the lines. It jives with personal experience. Other stories read like ideas about how the world should be instead of mountains we’ve climbed and learned to respect.

Edit: OK I'll give him that he rides a bicycle. Whatever. It's the crazy tendency to legislate his morality across all segments of the population that I can't stand.
